Refund and Returns Policy

You have up to 30 days from receipt to advise that you wish to return your goods. Your rights are laid out in detail in The Consumer Protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000. If you wish to return an item please contact us via our contact page and we will instruct you how to return the goods to us. Please note that the items must be returned unused, with all the parts and in the original packaging with labels etc so that we are able to resell the item as new. In the case of sealed electronic items such as Fishing Finders please note that to return these items the seal on the box must be intact. Please advise us of your order number and receipt as proof of purchase when requesting return. All return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. The items must be returned within a reasonable time frame (2 weeks approx.) and sent signed for delivery (proof of delivery) as we cannot be responsible for returns not received by us. All refunds are done within 2-3 days when the goods are checked and you will receive refund notification by email. Timescale for receiving the refund monies into your bank can vary depending on the payment method and bank.

Damaged Goods

If in the unlikely event that your goods are damaged in delivery or the packaging is damaged in any way then it is very important to sign the delivery note and mark ‘damaged’ by your signature, failure to do this may mean that we cannot accept return of damaged goods if not marked accordingly. Please inform us immediately via our website contact page as we only have a short period in which to make a claim against the carrier and past that time we cannot be held responsible for such damages.

Faulty Goods

All goods carry the standard manufacturer’s warranties. If the goods are faulty please contact us to arrange for them to be sent back to us for replacement or repair as per the manufacturer’s warranty. Please include a note with the return advising of the original order number, name, address and email address and what the problem is to ensure it is quickly resolved. All necessary components must be returned where possible.  Should returned goods found not to be faulty there will be a fee for the carriage costs/return costs incurred by DIRECT HOME BARGAINS LIMITED. For any returns past the statutory cooling off period we will charge a 15% re-stock fee and do not refund postage paid.
